About Poland's Public Holiday Calendar
Poland added Christmas Eve (December 24) to its official holiday list starting in 2025, bringing its annual count to 14 and making it one of the few European countries to do so.
Unlike the UK, Poland does not automatically move a holiday to a weekday when it falls on a weekend — employers are only required to grant a substitute day off within the same settlement period when a holiday lands on a Saturday.
