About Mexico's Public Holiday Calendar
Article 74 of Mexico's Federal Labor Law defines only 7 mandatory rest days; three of them (Constitution Day, Benito Juárez's Birthday, Revolution Day) are tied to a specific Monday of a given month, so their calendar date shifts every year.
Holy Week days such as Maundy Thursday and Good Friday are widely treated as time off culturally in Mexico, but they are not part of the legally mandatory holiday list, which is why these two days are intentionally left out of the list below.
